Odette Ilda et Gasparine (2013)

Odette Ilda et Gasparine (Odette Ilda and Gasparine) is a stop-motion serie and a piece of the transmedia fiction “L’ombre rose” (The Pink Shadow). The first episode is called “La bague” (The ring) and you can discover it just here :

The main part of this project was to make the ostrich puppets. They are build with: aluminum wire, copper tubes, wood, mastic epoxy, magnets (for eyes, beaks and for stabilize the legs), polymer clay (fimo), acrylic painting, foam, fabrics and colored latex. You can see here some steps of the making process:

To create the motion I used a camera Canon 550 D connected to my computer and Dragon Stop Motion. The scenery is made with painted fabrics.

I used also After Effect for add in the movie some elements animated in traditional 2D like the fire in the first episode. The sound was done with protools and integrated with Premiere. See the fire alone: Fire
